Cent Raises $15 Million to Scale Preventive Healthcare

Indian healthtech startup Cent has raised $15 million in a Series A funding round to strengthen its AI-powered preventive healthcare platform and expand its diagnostic capabilities.

The funding round was led by Blume Ventures and existing investor South Park Commons. It included a combination of debt and equity, with participation from individual investors such as former Vodafone CEO Arun Sarin, former OpenAI B2B CTO Srinivas Narayanan, Sharath Narayana, Krishna Sridhar, and Aprameya Radhakrishna.

Founded in 2025, Cent is building a preventive health intelligence platform that combines medical imaging, artificial intelligence (AI), diagnostics, and bioinformatics to help identify potential health risks before symptoms appear.

The company plans to use the new capital to accelerate research and development and expand its AI, engineering, and clinical teams.

Combining Medical Imaging With AI

Cent aims to move healthcare beyond treating illnesses after symptoms develop towards identifying potential health risks earlier.

Its platform combines purpose-built hardware, AI-assisted radiology, diagnostic testing, and bioinformatics to create a consolidated view of an individual's health.

The company's flagship offering, Cent Check, combines full-body magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), low-dose computed tomography (CT), bone density testing, electrocardiography (ECG), echocardiography, and more than 100 biomarker tests in a visit lasting approximately two hours.

According to the company, specialist doctors review the results and provide members with a doctor-led health plan and follow-up support.

Cent says it has completed 10,000 preventive whole-body scans across Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi since its inception. It aims to scale this figure to 10 million scans by 2035.

Cent Acquires AI Radiology Platform Medsee

Alongside its fundraising, Cent has acquired Medsee, an AI-powered radiology reporting workflow platform founded by Chitra Singh.

Medsee helps draft structured radiology reports and highlight findings for review by qualified medical professionals. The technology is intended to improve reporting speed and consistency as diagnostic volumes increase.

The acquisition strengthens Cent's focus on integrating AI into medical imaging and clinical workflows. It also gives the startup an additional technology capability as it expands its preventive healthcare operations.

AI-assisted reporting can help streamline parts of the diagnostic process, although clinical findings still require appropriate professional review.

Investors Back Early Disease Detection

The funding reflects investor interest in healthcare models that combine technology, diagnostics, and personalised preventive care.

Cent's approach is built around identifying potential health concerns earlier and using accumulated diagnostic data to improve health assessments over time.

The company also plans to develop health benchmarks for asymptomatic Indians and use its growing dataset to support AI model development and clinical research.

However, the long-term impact of this approach will depend on clinical evidence, the accuracy of assessments, appropriate follow-up care, and the ability to make preventive services accessible to more people.

Building Preventive Healthcare Infrastructure

Cent's latest funding provides resources to develop its technology, expand its teams, and grow its operations. Its ambition to reach 10 million scans by 2035 represents a significant expansion target.

As healthcare providers increasingly explore AI-assisted diagnostics and early detection, startups such as Cent are seeking to build integrated platforms that bring imaging, testing, and clinical review together.

The next stage for Cent will involve scaling its operations while demonstrating that its technology can support reliable, clinically useful, and accessible preventive healthcare.
