Let’s Game Now Secures ₹30 Crore in Fresh Funding

Indian gaming and esports platform Let’s Game Now has raised ₹30 crore in a funding round co-led by industrialist Anand Mahindra and Bestvantage Investments, with participation from a family office based in the United Arab Emirates.

Announced on October 28, 2026, the funding will support the development and expansion of the Indian Super Gaming League (ISGL), as the company looks to strengthen its presence in India's competitive gaming industry.

Founded by Santanu Basu in 2018, Let’s Game Now operates a platform that connects brands with gaming communities through online tournaments, offline gaming events and live broadcasting services. Its operations extend across South Asia and Southeast Asia.

Building the Indian Super Gaming League

The Indian Super Gaming League is central to the company's expansion strategy. The new investment is expected to help Let’s Game Now develop the league and strengthen its engagement with gamers, brands and other participants in the esports ecosystem.

Gaming tournaments and organised competitions can provide brands with opportunities to connect with younger audiences through interactive experiences. For gaming platforms, leagues can also create recurring engagement through competitions, community participation and live content.

The company aims to build on its existing tournament and event operations as it advances the ISGL initiative.

An Established Gaming Community

Let’s Game Now reports a cumulative reach of more than 50 million and says it has organised over 2,000 events, served more than 30 clients and established a presence in 18 countries.

Its reported community includes more than 1.4 million members, approximately 387,900 YouTube subscribers and 193,300 Discord members. The company also maintains a database of more than 100,000 gamers.

Its campus network spans over 400 colleges across more than 80 cities, reaching upwards of 700,000 students. The network includes partnerships with more than 30 campus clubs and has supported over 20 events.

These networks could provide a foundation for expanding participation in organised gaming competitions and strengthening relationships with sponsors and commercial partners.

India's Gaming Market Presents Growth Opportunities

India's gaming sector has expanded alongside wider digital adoption, smartphone usage and the growth of online communities. Esports platforms are seeking to turn this audience interest into organised competitions, sponsorship opportunities and sustainable business models.

The Indian gaming market is valued at approximately $3.8 billion and is projected to reach $9.2 billion by FY29, according to figures cited by Indian Retailer.

For companies such as Let’s Game Now, the opportunity lies in developing experiences that keep gamers engaged while creating value for brands and event partners.

However, long-term growth will depend on audience retention, sponsorship demand, effective event execution and the ability to build commercially sustainable competitions.

Funding to Support the Next Phase of Growth

The ₹30 crore investment gives Let’s Game Now additional capital to advance its league plans and expand its gaming and esports business.

The company's existing community, tournament experience and campus relationships provide a starting point for further development. The next phase will depend on how effectively it converts that reach into sustained participation, brand partnerships and recurring commercial opportunities.

As India's gaming ecosystem develops, the progress of the Indian Super Gaming League will be an important indicator of Let’s Game Now's ability to scale its platform and establish a stronger position in organised esports.
