Incubated at ARTPARK, IISc, the company wants to own the core navigation intellectual property for drones and robots instead of importing it

Bengaluru, October 12, 2026 – Yaanendriya has raised ₹15 crore from Mumbai-based Piper Serica to scale indigenous navigation, sensing and control technology for autonomous systems. It is the startup’s first institutional funding round.

The company builds sensor and control platforms that let drones, ground robots, spacecraft and underwater vehicles sense motion and estimate their position. They are designed to keep working where GNSS signals are unavailable, unreliable or deliberately jammed. Its products include the SynCore flight controller and inertial sensing hardware.

Yaanendriya started with navigation controllers, then moved into inertial sensors, and is now combining the two. It has moved past the prototype stage and works with customers in defence and aerospace, drones and robotics, industrial automation and research.

Reported revenue was about ₹72 lakh in FY26, with a target of ₹5.4 crore for FY27. The founders are Vamshi Bharadwaj M V, Vyshak Y, Vijay H P and Aravind Thumbur.

Satyadeep Singh of Piper Serica said autonomous systems will define the next generation of defence, aerospace, industrial automation and mobility. He said the firm backs founders building hardware, software and firmware as a single scalable platform. Piper Serica launched a Bharat Tech Fund in 2026 targeting ₹600 crore.

The startup also plans SynCore variants for satellite attitude control and for underwater navigation without GNSS.
